Chris Loverseed is an Australian entrepreneur and dog trainer based in Melbourne. He is the founder of PK9 Gear and Positive K9 Training, where he remains owner and head trainer. He has worked professionally in dog training since 2009, building Positive K9 Training into a business with a team of trainers and developing PK9 Online during the COVID lockdowns. His work covers dog training, dog behaviour, training-equipment design, Australian manufacturing and traditional leathercraft. Chris holds a nationally recognised dog behaviour and training qualification through the National Dog Trainers Federation, with additional units listed by Positive K9 Training in assistance dogs, substance detection, complex skills and tricks, and class instruction. He founded PK9 Gear in 2023 as an extension of his training business, and it became a separate entity that year. PK9 Gear makes its products in Melbourne except for its foam toys, using materials and components sourced in Australia and overseas.
