I wanted gear
I could rely on.
So I made it.

As a trainer putting equipment on dogs every day, I got tired of gear that didn’t hold up. That was the beginning of PK9 Gear.

Everyday equipment. One-off pieces.

Made to be used.
Made for a dog.

Climbing-rope leads and Biothane for everyday training. Vegetable-tanned leather and solid brass for the Prestige Collection and bespoke commissions.

I still test equipment on the dogs I work with before it goes to anyone else. The making and the training are connected.

PK9 products are made in Melbourne, except for foam toys. Materials and components are sourced from Australia and overseas.

Custom work has included pieces for Oprah Winfrey’s dogs and a collar for Jelly Roll’s dog, Bussie. Each has its own story.
